We begin by confirming your insurance provider and claim number. This allows us to create an accurate estimate and repair plan, which we submit directly to your insurance for approval—ensuring no unexpected out-of-pocket expenses beyond your deductible (if applicable).

From this point on, Highland Collision will communicate directly with your insurance provider on your behalf. We’ll also schedule your rental vehicle to meet you at our shop on your drop-off day and handle all rental billing and coordination with both the rental company and your insurer.

When you bring your vehicle in, we begin the blueprinting process—a detailed inspection to uncover any hidden or structural damage that may not have been visible during the initial estimate.
During this phase, we:
- Perform a pre-repair diagnostic scan
- Check alignment and mechanical systems
- Complete a full damage assessment
- Identify any manufacturer-required post-collision procedures

If additional damage is discovered, we update the estimate and submit it to your insurance for approval before moving forward. We’ll also update you and answer any questions you may have.

With approval in place, our team begins the repair process, restoring your vehicle to pre-loss condition in line with manufacturer guidelines. This ensures any existing warranties on your vehicle are preserved.

After repairs are complete, your vehicle undergoes a final quality inspection to confirm all systems function properly and the vehicle has been fully restored.
Your vehicle will then receive a complimentary full detail, inside and out.

When you arrive, we’ll walk through the final results with you to ensure your complete satisfaction. If you were provided a rental vehicle, you can leave it with us—we’ll coordinate directly with the rental company for return.
